Do my shopping here regularly. Wish they were open 24 hours like some of the other ones. However, I just wanted to mention Thomas upfront is a great help with everybody very pleasant.

I covet ShopRites, this one in Succasunna is one of my favorite ones around here along with the one in Chester. This ShopRite is at the end of a bunch of shops on the left and has a ton of parking out front. They have really easy to understand signage to help with the flow with navigating the store during the pandemic. The store is incredibly clean, easy to navigate, brightly light, well stocked, and the variety to products there is endless. I wish all ShopRites had their abundance and variety of produce, meats, cheeses, and seafood. Even at peak busy hours, they keep their checkout lines moving and get you in and out quick!

I have to give this store 5 stars! Just got home from there. The world is ending so everyone is stocking up. Nothing left on the shelves the line was literally rapped around the entire store but they handled it well. They had employees directing people to the end of the line and to the registers. I was impressed on how fast the line moved. As for the shelves, they where trying to stock them but people where taking things before it could be put on the shelf.

I have been shopping here for many years. Have found the employees to be helpful and friendly. Sometimes it's just a matter of being pleasant yourself to receive pleasantry in return. Produce is great. Nice organic choices. Deli is good as is sushi, and meat department. I have never experienced " smells". Loved the review that talked of Good being "spelt" wrong. Lol. How would she know ? Also gentleman upset because they would not let him take 5 additional plastic bags....that's stealing, sir buy some ziplocks . I don't know who Lucinda is but I will seek her out and can almost guarantee she will be nice if treated nicely. Good store !

My review is based on my experiences. I disagree with some of my fellow Yelpers. I cook from scratch every night and really know food.... This is by far my favorite Shoprite to purchase groceries .When I'm up in the area visiting family I make it a point to stop in the Succasunna Shoprite... The staff is extremely friendly. I have had managers and workers come up to me during several of my shopping trips and ask if I need any help finding an item. If I say yes, they walk me right to isle and show me where the item or items are. This store is very well stocked,compared to my local shoprite in Stirling, NJ. It's easy to park, there is a very large parking lot which is shared with Home Depot, Staples and a few other stores. The entrance is flat not like my Shoprite in Stirling where the parking lot is so dangerous.(That parking lot entrance and exit to the car area is on a slant and your cart can get away from you. It also needs complete paving.I find it to be very crowded and I really don't like shopping there.) The bakery department does a great job. I love that they make everything on the premises including homemade apple cider donuts , and pumpkin donuts. You can smell them as you shopping around. I have never smelled a mildew smell. They even serve small cups of coffee for free. Shoprite Succasunna has a nice fish department too., a great selection of many types of fish. The meat department is large with a great variety including organic meats. They have a separate counter with custom cuts and prime meats like crown roasts and steaks. The dairy department is always very well stocked., and easy to find what I'm looking for. The vegetable department always has fresh vegetables at reasonable prices, and in the spring and summer they get great veggies from local farms brought in. I have never experienced old or mushy veggies. Check out is a pleasure, not like my local shoprite. (There are never enough isles open.) I can see such a big difference between the two stores . The Succasunna Shoprite and it's managers and staff really take pride in their store.For me it's a pleasure to shop their. Only a few weeks ago they had a Boy Scout Troop Band playing Christmas music and contemporary music for all the patrons shopping. I will continue to shop here when I can.
